Projects

I’m very proud to work on a variety of projects at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH).
Below are clips featuring the scale, complexity, and range of programs in my role as Public Programs Manager. On average, I have organized ~120 public programs to serve over 17,000 visitors annually at MFAH. The format of the program vary, from lectures, concerts, festivals. Featured are examples of different programs which I designed with my MFAH team, guest speakers, and artists.

Festivals

In this role, I have organized several Community Day Festivals at MFAH. Festivals are generously sponsored by the most beloved grocery store in Texas, H-E-B. For the festivals, I lead logistics to organize the free event which welcomes up to 3-4,000 visitors on campus. For the Fall Festivals, I have created a partnership with ALMAAHH to facilitate an open call application process to select local artists for a commissioned work. Through this selection process with community jurors, 6 artists are selected to create temporary sculptures to be on view in the MFAH Sculpture Garden. I oversee the management of artist relationships, sculpture installation, and performers for the main stage programs.
